Exports by Country
In 2021, Russia (X tons) represented the main exporter of polyethylene in primary forms, achieving X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons) and Azerbaijan (X tons), together achieving a X% share of total exports. Belarus (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Exports from Russia increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+X%) and Azerbaijan (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Over the period under review, imports recorded a perceptible slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when imports increased by X%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, polyethylene in primary forms imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a abrupt contraction. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

It was distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X tons), Belarus (X tons) and Uzbekistan (X tons), together achieving a X% share of total imports.
