Exports by Country

China, Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes), Indonesia (X tonnes) and Israel (X tonnes) were the main destinations of frozen orange juice exports from China, together accounting for X% of total exports. Thailand, Taiwan, Chinese, Malaysia, Kuwait, Germany, Mali, Guinea and the United Arab Emirates lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for frozen orange juice exported from China were China, Hong Kong SAR ($X), Indonesia ($X) and Israel ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports. Over the period under review, frozen orange juice imports continue to indicate a slight reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.

In value terms, frozen orange juice imports amounted to $X in 2018. Over the period under review, frozen orange juice imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2011 with an increase of X% y-o-y. In that year, frozen orange juice imports reached their peak of $X. From 2012 to 2018, the growth of frozen orange juice imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2018, Brazil (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of frozen orange juice to China, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, frozen orange juice imports from Brazil exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Israel (X tonnes), twofold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by Taiwan, Chinese (X tonnes), with a X% share.
