Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a slight increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, paper making machinery imports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible setback. The level of import peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
