The average zinc dust export price stood at $1,370 per ton in 2022, growing by 17% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a temperate increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when the average export price increased by 183%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $3,156 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($4,445 per ton), while the average price for exports to Norway totaled $1,206 per ton.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Saudi Arabia (+216.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
