Yoghurt Price in the Czech Republic (FOB) - 2021
In November 2021, the average yoghurt export price amounted to $1,646 per ton, standing approximately at the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2021 an increase of 5.8% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,677 per ton. From June 2021 to November 2021, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($1,957 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($1,128 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Yoghurt Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2021
In November 2021, the average yoghurt import price amounted to $1,587 per ton, picking up by 2.7% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2021 an increase of 3.8% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $1,599 per ton in May 2021; afterwards, it flattened through to November 2021.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2021, the countries with the highest prices were Greece ($2,047 per ton) and Slovakia ($1,919 per ton), while the price for Poland ($1,370 per ton) and Austria ($1,410 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Austria (+0.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Yoghurt Exports in the Czech Republic
In 2022, the amount of yoghurt exported from the Czech Republic shrank to 38K tons, therefore, remained relatively stable against 2021. Overall, exports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 2.1% against the previous year.
In value terms, yoghurt exports declined to $59M in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 12% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $62M, and then shrank in the following year.

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 5.9%.

The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +5.5% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years.
