The average waxes; artificial, prepared import price stood at $2,618 per ton in June 2023, waning by -13.9% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a slight downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 an increase of 20% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,421 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($4,520 per ton), while the price for Poland ($1,359 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
