In July 2023, the average waxes; artificial, prepared import price amounted to $2,061 per ton, falling by -7.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a pronounced setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 13% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $3,277 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($6,679 per ton), while the price for Belarus ($1,027 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (+0.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $6,352 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
