Waffle and Wafer Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2023
In June 2023, the average waffle and wafer export price amounted to $5,715 per ton, with an increase of 5.1% against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 an increase of 8.5% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $5,933 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($9,436 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($4,728 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+4.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Waffle and Wafer Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2023
In June 2023, the average waffle and wafer import price amounted to $4,759 per ton, approximately reflecting the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 18% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $5,166 per ton. From May 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Austria ($6,105 per ton), while the price for Spain ($3,362 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Waffle and Wafer Exports in the Netherlands
