Vehicle Radio Price in Angola (CIF) - 2022

The average vehicle radio import price stood at $119 per unit in 2022, picking up by 31% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 63% against the previous year. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by South Africa (+13.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average vehicle radio export price amounted to $88 per unit, increasing by 30% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. In 2022, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in overseas purchases of radio receivers for motor vehicles, when their volume increased by 217% to 437 units. In general, imports, however, faced a sharp shrinkage. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at 934 units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
