Unroasted Decaffeinated Coffee Price in Brazil (CIF) - 2022

The average unroasted decaffeinated coffee import price stood at $1,388 per ton in 2022, reducing by -17.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a deep slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 57%. The import price peaked at $6,618 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Canada ($7,470 per ton), while the price for Mexico amounted to $1,264 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Canada (+1.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

Unroasted Decaffeinated Coffee Price in Brazil (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average unroasted decaffeinated coffee export price amounted to $7,004 per ton, with an increase of 15% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a pronounced expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 35%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $8,580 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Marshall Islands ($14,800 per ton), while the average price for exports to Argentina ($6,600 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Marshall Islands (+92.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Unroasted Decaffeinated Coffee Imports in Brazil

After three years of growth, purchases abroad of unroasted decaffeinated coffee decreased by -58.1% to 999 tons in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 4,319%.

In value terms, unroasted decaffeinated coffee imports contracted dramatically to $1.4M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 2,775% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $4.8M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In general, exports continue to indicate a precipitous slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 106%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 7.4 tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, unroasted decaffeinated coffee exports shrank markedly to $1.9K in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a dramatic setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 180%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $64K. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
