Tomato Puree Price in Saudi Arabia (CIF) - 2022
The average tomato puree import price stood at $1,079 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -4.6% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.4%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average import price increased by 12% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,183 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Jordan ($1,507 per ton), while the price for China ($885 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+4.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $1,803 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($2,721 per ton), while the average price for exports to Jordan ($1,087 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Iraq (+12.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Tomato Puree Imports in Saudi Arabia
