Tomato Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
The average tomato import price stood at $1,845 per ton in March 2022, growing by 16% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated perceptible growth from March 2021 to March 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.3% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Morocco ($5,168 per ton), while the price for Turkmenistan ($1,155 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Morocco (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average tomato export price stood at $2,268 per ton in 2022, increasing by 115% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw prominent growth. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for the United Arab Emirates.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Russia amounted to -0.2% per year.
