Sweet Biscuit Price in Kenya (CIF) - 2022

The average sweet biscuit import price stood at $2,006 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 44% against the previous year. Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was South Africa ($4,572 per ton), while the price for Saudi Arabia ($798 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by South Africa (+5.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Sweet Biscuit Price in Kenya (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average sweet biscuit export price amounted to $2,668 per ton, increasing by 16% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 22%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,782 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
