Stationery Product Price in Thailand (FOB) - 2023

The average stationery product export price stood at $3,449 per ton in July 2023, picking up by 12% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 51% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $5,906 per ton. From January 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Lao People's Democratic Republic ($9,789 per ton), while the average price for exports to Saudi Arabia ($1,798 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ireland (+35.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average stationery product import price stood at $3,394 per ton in 2022, dropping by -2.1% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, stationery product import price increased by +9.2% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 16% against the previous year.
