Stationery Product Price in Poland (FOB) - 2023

The average stationery product export price stood at $4,339 per ton in June 2023, reducing by -3.6% against the previous month. Over the period from June 2022 to June 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 38% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $4,500 per ton in May 2023, and then dropped slightly in the following month.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($6,910 per ton), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($3,075 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (+5.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average stationery product import price amounted to $3,417 per ton, rising by 3.2% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.9%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 9.5% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($5,309 per ton), while the price for Sweden ($1,269 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+9.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
