Stationery Product Price in China (FOB) - 2023

The average stationery product export price stood at $3,086 per ton in June 2023, flattening at the previous month. In general, the export price, however, showed a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 10% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $4,541 per ton. From January 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Australia ($6,535 per ton), while the average price for exports to Jordan ($1,379 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Australia (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 9.4%. The import price peaked at $1,594 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
