In March 2022, the average speed changer import price amounted to $9,150 per ton, falling by -2.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2021 when the average import price increased by 27% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $9,350 per ton in February 2022, and then fell in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($47,580 per ton), while the price for Belgium ($2,748 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+19.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
