The average sheepskin and lambskin export price stood at $1,302 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 14% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a deep setback. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $2,394 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a precipitous shrinkage. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $12,627 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
