Sheep; Live Price in Kazakhstan (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average sheep; live export price amounted to $121 per unit, declining by -2.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 55% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $124 per unit in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($141 per unit), while the average price for exports to Russia ($74 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Uzbekistan (+20.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
