The average sheep; live import price stood at $131 per unit in July 2023, with a decrease of -8.3% against the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 36% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $158 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to July 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
