In August 2023, the average selenium import price amounted to $26,590 per ton, shrinking by -13% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a mild descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 125% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $44,175 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to August 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
