In 2022, the average seals; mechanical import price amounted to $20 per unit, with a decrease of -20.9% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average import price increased by 73%. The import price peaked at $80 per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($60 per unit), while the price for Belgium ($2.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Austria (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a pronounced reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 103%. The export price peaked at $52 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($33 per unit), while the average price for exports to Israel ($2.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (-6.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
