The average rafts; inflatable export price stood at $321 per unit in September 2023, waning by -20.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a pronounced slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in August 2023 an increase of 70% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $427 per unit in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($402 per unit), while the average price for exports to Finland ($74.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average rafts; inflatable import price stood at $5,379 per unit in 2022, increasing by 19% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, rafts; inflatable import price increased by +21.5% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 97% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $7,188 per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($25,396 per unit), while the price for Thailand ($1,578 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (+24.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, shipments abroad of rafts; inflatables decreased by -33% to 456K units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 135% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 681K units, and then fell dramatically in the following year.
In value terms, rafts; inflatable exports declined notably to $88M in 2022. In general, exports, however, recorded a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 97% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $110M, and then shrank markedly in the following year.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of rafts; inflatables decreased by -4.5% to 2K units, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate modest growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 12% against the previous year.
