In 2022, the average quartzite import price amounted to $140 per ton, shrinking by -19.3% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, enjoyed resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 33%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $174 per ton in 2021, and then shrank significantly in the following year.
