In 2022, the average propylene oxide export price amounted to $1,667 per ton, which is down by -12.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 73%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,914 per ton, and then shrank in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Brazil ($2,375 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($1,066 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
