Price for Zinc; Waste and Scrap in China (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average zinc; waste and scrap export price amounted to $800 per ton, rising by 50% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 127% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,409 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Paraguay.
