The average zinc; powders and flakes import price stood at $9,984 per ton in 2022, stabilizing at the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 109%. The import price peaked at $15,267 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($14,257 per ton), while the price for Switzerland ($5,600 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
