Price for Zinc; Dust, Powders and Flakes in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2023

The average export price for zinc; dust, powders and flakeses stood at $2,861 per ton in July 2023, falling by -10.4% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 55% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $3,284 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to July 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Turkey ($4,724 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bulgaria ($1,248 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+8.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
