In July 2023, the average yarn; of flax, single import price amounted to $14,553 per ton, rising by 4.2% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a buoyant increase from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +7.8% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
