Price for Winding Wire, Other than of Copper in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
The average export price for winding wire, other than of coppers stood at $5,388 per ton in March 2022, leveling off at the previous month. Over the period from March 2021 to March 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2022 when the average export price increased by 7.6% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $5,397 per ton in February 2022, and then contracted modestly in the following month.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. In March 2022, the countries with the highest prices were Italy ($6,004 per ton) and Bulgaria ($5,887 per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia ($4,490 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($5,051 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Bulgaria (+2.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for winding wire, other than of coppers stood at $7,881 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 21% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 51% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $10,377 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
