The average winding wire of copper export price stood at $10,043 per ton in June 2023, rising by 67% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $11,925 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to June 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($11,684 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($3,881 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+5.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
