Price for Winding Wire of Copper in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
In March 2022, the average winding wire of copper export price amounted to $11,066 per ton, remaining stable against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2021 when the average export price increased by 15% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $11,763 per ton in June 2021; however, from July 2021 to March 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Russia amounted to +0.6% per month.

The average winding wire of copper import price stood at $11,146 per ton in March 2022, waning by -9.1% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2021 when the average import price increased by 9.1% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $13,545 per ton in October 2021; however, from November 2021 to March 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Russia ($11,103 per ton), while the price for Poland amounted to $9,820 per ton.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+0.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Exports of Winding Wire of Copper in Belarus
In 2022, approx. 637 tons of winding wire of coppers were exported from Belarus; with an increase of 12% compared with the previous year. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible slump.

In general, total imports indicated strong growth from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +8.8% over the last three-year period.
