Price for Wheat and Meslin Flour in Serbia (FOB) - 2022
The average wheat and meslin flour export price stood at $453 per ton in 2022, surging by 42% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated temperate growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, wheat and meslin flour export price increased by +120.0% against 2016 indices. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were Montenegro ($474 per ton) and North Macedonia ($444 per ton), while the average price for exports to Albania ($432 per ton) and Croatia ($439 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Croatia (+5.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average wheat and meslin flour import price stood at $651 per ton in 2022, growing by 31% against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $694 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Exports of Wheat and Meslin Flour in Serbia
