The average export price for waste, parings and scrap, of plasticses stood at $90.6 per ton in October 2023, shrinking by -61.3% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a abrupt setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2023 when the average export price increased by 45% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $445 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to October 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Bosnia and Herzegovina ($196 per ton), while the average price for exports to Serbia stood at $86.0 per ton.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Austria (-1.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
