In 2022, the average export price for vinyl chloride polymers; waste, parings and scraps amounted to $578 per ton, with a decrease of -2.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 80% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $595 per ton in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($647 per ton), while the average price for exports to Morocco amounted to $132 per ton.
