The average export price for vinyl acetate copolymers; in aqueous dispersion, in primary formses stood at $1,511 per ton in November 2023, shrinking by -2.2% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a slight shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 3% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $1,829 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In November 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Turkey ($1,738 per ton) and Belgium ($1,675 per ton), while the average price for exports to Morocco ($1,207 per ton) and France ($1,367 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+1.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In November 2023, the average import price for vinyl acetate copolymers; in aqueous dispersion, in primary formses amounted to $1,708 per ton, dropping by -2.4% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a slight curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 8.6% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,029 per ton. From February 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($3,287 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($1,387 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Switzerland (+4.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Exports of Vinyl Acetate Copolymers; in Aqueous Dispersion, in Primary Forms in Germany
After three years of growth, shipments abroad of vinyl acetate copolymers; in aqueous dispersion, in primary formses decreased by -17.3% to 142K tons in 2022.
