The average import price for vermiculite, perlite and chlorites; unexpandeds stood at $331 per ton in June 2023, with an increase of 2.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2022 an increase of 59% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $475 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
