The average import price for vegetables; potatoes (other than seed), fresh or chilleds stood at $703 per ton in March 2023, increasing by 3% against the previous month. Over the period from March 2022 to March 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.6%. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2022 when the average import price increased by 30% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $832 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to March 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
