The average export price for colouring matter of vegetable or animal origin stood at $19,997 per ton in July 2023, which is down by -40.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a pronounced expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 112% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $41,423 per ton. From April 2023 to July 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Germany ($53,960 per ton), while the average price for exports to Togo ($4,529 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+11.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
