In November 2023, the average import price for trade advertising materials and commercial catalogues amounted to $9,993 per ton, with an increase of 4.1% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 13% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $12,784 per ton. From February 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($46,170 per ton), while the price for South Korea ($6,098 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+10.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average export price for trade advertising materials and commercial catalogues stood at $8,776 per ton in November 2023, increasing by 2.1% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 an increase of 45% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $9,380 per ton. From September 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($28,246 per ton), while the average price for exports to Myanmar ($3,465 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cambodia (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Trade Advertising Material and Commercial Catalogue in Thailand
In 2022, overseas purchases of trade advertising materials and commercial catalogues decreased by -65.4% to 3.6K tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a notable expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 234% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 11K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, imports of trade advertising materials and commercial catalogues reduced remarkably to $42M in 2022. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 305%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $173M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.
