The average export price for tomatoes; prepared or preserved otherwise than by vinegar or acetic acid stood at $1,538 per ton in January 2024, with an increase of 5.9% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a mild contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 11% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,940 per ton. From June 2023 to January 2024, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
