The average import price for tomatoes; prepared or preserved otherwise than by vinegar or acetic acid stood at $860 per ton in 2022, declining by -3% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average import price increased by 9.4% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $997 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries.
