Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In October 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Russia ($8,652 per ton) and Serbia ($7,619 per ton), while the average price for exports to Switzerland ($5,824 per ton) and Senegal ($7,491 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Romania (+14.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
