The average export price for tobacco; partly or wholly stemmed or stripped stood at $2,473 per ton in June 2023, falling by -6.9% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a perceptible decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 20% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $4,536 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
