The average import price for tobacco; partly or wholly stemmed or stripped stood at $2,241 per ton in 2022, approximately mirroring the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a deep setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 21% against the previous year.
