Over the last eleven-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 21% against the previous month. The export price peaked in November 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($5,262 per ton), while the average price for exports to Portugal ($3,124 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+14.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
