The average import price for sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives of hydrocarbons; whether or not halogenateds stood at $1,712 per ton in 2022, which is down by -9% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 13%. The import price peaked at $1,952 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($6,060 per ton), while the price for the Czech Republic ($1,057 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Lithuania (+11.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives of hydrocarbons; whether or not halogenateds amounted to $1,007 per ton, surging by 2.6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 35% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $2,033 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Egypt.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Qatar amounted to +54.1% per year.

In 2022, approx. 329 tons of sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives of hydrocarbons; whether or not halogenateds were imported into Belarus; falling by -27.4% on 2021 figures. In general, imports, however, saw a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 177%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 454 tons, and then dropped remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, imports of sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives of hydrocarbons; whether or not halogenateds dropped notably to $564K in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 212%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $854K, and then fell dramatically in the following year.

As a result, the exports reached the peak of 243 tons, and then reduced dramatically in the following year.
