In 2022, the average import price for sulphites; other than of sodia amounted to $589 per ton, picking up by 6.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a perceptible setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 56%. The import price peaked at $1,608 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
