The average import price for sugars; fructose, chemically pure, in solid form stood at $1,394 per ton in 2022, jumping by 69% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a noticeable downturn. The import price peaked at $2,197 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries.
