Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.3%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Poland ($11,208 per ton), while the price for Italy ($3,835 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+9.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on October 2023 figures, export price for sugar confectionery; (excluding chewing gum, including white chocolate), not containing cocoa increased by +26.2% against June 2023 indices.
